Annoh-Dompreh Commissions Adoagyiri Zongo Library and Astro Turf Park

In a remarkable development for the Adoagyiri Zongo community, a new library and astro turf park were commissioned at a grand ceremony attended by local leaders, government officials, and community members. The event was graced by the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, who expressed his admiration for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, highlighting his humility and dedication to serving the people.
During his speech, Annoh-Dompreh commended Vice President Bawumia for his unique leadership style, stating, “There has not been any leader who bows to his subjects, but Bawumia does.” He further explained that the term “pepeni,” often used to describe northerners, signifies their loyalty to their leaders and their commitment to never betray them. Annoh-Dompreh drew a parallel between this characteristic and the nature of Vice President Bawumia, emphasizing his integrity and trustworthiness.
The Member of Parliament called upon the residents of Adoagyiri Zongo to show their support for Vice President Bawumia by voting for him in the upcoming elections. He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mustapha Hamid, the Coordinator of the Zongo Development Fund, and Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia for their contributions to the establishment of the library and astro turf park.
Annoh-Dompreh revealed that the newly inaugurated library building is equipped with an ICT facility and an extensive collection of books. He assured the community that the library would become a hub for knowledge, learning, and personal growth, benefiting not only the Zongo community but also the entire Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency.
The Municipal Imam of the area expressed his profound gratitude to the NPP government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia. He specifically commended Frank Annoh-Dompreh, acknowledging his lobbying efforts and influence in bringing about this significant development. The Imam concluded his remarks by offering prayers for the government’s success.
The constituency chairman also lauded Annoh-Dompreh’s exceptional performance in various communities within the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency. He praised the MP for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
Zongo Chief Basiru Salifu Baruwa expressed his appreciation for the library and astro turf park, emphasizing the broader benefits they would bring to the entire Nsawam Adoagyiri community. He praised Annoh-Dompreh for his outstanding service and urged community members to rally behind him during the upcoming elections.
Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, highlighted the positive impact of the Zongo Development Fund on Zongo communities across the country. He attributed the establishment of the Adoagyiri library to the government’s commitment to promoting education and urged students to make the most of this valuable resource.
