Former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, has been arrested by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) on charges of suspected corruption and corruption-related offenses. The arrest comes following reports of large sums of money and valuable items being stolen from her residence by two househelps in 2022. According to a press statement released by the OSP, Dapaah was placed under arrest on Monday, July 24, 2023.
