Metro Lens Newspaper Editor Enstooled Chief

Isaac Boamah Darko, a broadcast journalist, has been enstooled as the Mawerehene of Akyem Adadientam in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional area in Eastern Region.
Isaac Boamah Darko, known as Baffuor Boamah Darko,I, is a TV host on Original TV and the Managing Editor of The Metro Lens Newspaper.

He was enstooled in a colourful traditional ceremony held in the Akyem Adadientam.
As the newly enstooled Mawerehene, Baffuor Boamah Darko pledged to support the traditional council in its community development efforts.
He proposed the establishment of a Tweretwie Festival to honor JB Danquah, a key figure in Ghana’s political history from Adadientem.

The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare and a bosom friend of Baffuor Boamah Darko was present to grace the occasion with POMAB members.

Addressing the gathering, the IGP reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Ghana Police Service to preserve peace during the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He stated that any attempt to disrupt the nation’s peace would be met with strict enforcement of the law, even if it requires police personnel to sacrifice their lives to ensure stability for future generations.
The IGP urged traditional rulers to roll out measures to deal with the alarming chieftaincy disputes that continue to threaten the piece of the country.
Barima Ofori Asante, Chief of Akyem Adadientam, appealed to community members, both in Ghana and abroad, to contribute to the construction of the main town road and other local development projects the traditional council has initiated.
The enstoolment and coronation ceremony was supervised by Okoagyeman Apagya Ofori, Chief of Akyem Apapam, and head of Amantuomiensa of the Akyem Abuakwa traditional area. Chiefs of Nkronso, Asikam, Otafregya Agyemang Kumanin chief of Afiesa.
