Dr. Sam Ankrah, an Independent Presidential Candidate in the upcoming December 7, 2024 General Elections, has vowed to reverse Ghana’s economic decline with radical measures if elected into office. With a background in development economics and investment banking, Dr. Ankrah believes that Ghana’s fortunes can be turned around with committed and selfless leadership.

In a Contract with the people of Ghana, Dr. Ankrah has outlined a series of measurable outcomes that he commits to deliver if elected as President of the Republic of Ghana. These outcomes include reversing the “Dollarization” of the Ghanaian economy, simplifying imports processing protocols, establishing investment promotion desks, and limiting advance rent payments, among others.

Dr. Ankrah also plans to restructure the Ghana National Oil Company, dedicate a significant portion of oil revenue to infrastructure development, and review existing privileges and benefits in the public sector. Additionally, he aims to reduce government size, offload non-performing state enterprises, and promote sufficiency in local languages in education.

Other measures outlined in Dr. Ankrah’s Contract with Ghana include boosting the creative arts industry and sports sector, reducing the cost of internet access, optimizing agriculture, and promoting medical tourism. He also plans to use data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive economic policy and resolve land tenure issues.

With a focus on enforcing the rule of law, boosting tourism, and beginning a constitutional review process, Dr. Ankrah seeks to bring about significant change in Ghana’s economic and social landscape. By signing the Contract with Ghana and voting for Dr. Ankrah on December 7th, voters can hold him accountable to his promises and work towards a stronger and more prosperous Ghana.

Dr. Sam Ankrah’s Contract with Ghana offers a vision for a brighter future for the country, and with the support of the people, he aims to bring about the radical changes needed to reverse Ghana’s economic decline.
