NPP National Chairman Commends Dr. Bawumia for outlining Party’s Vision for Ghana

Accra, Ghana – The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayensu Ntim, has expressed his delight at the historic Bawumia Speaks Lecture, outlining the party’s vision for Ghana’s future.

In his speech, Ntim acknowledged the significance of electing Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia as the NPP’s presidential candidate for the 2024 election. He commended Dr. Bawumia for his exceptional determination and hard work, which earned him this well-deserved position. Ntim also congratulated the other aspirants who competed in the primaries, emphasizing their support for the party and the democratic process.

Ntim praised the party’s rank and file for their discipline and hard work in organizing the peaceful and transparent presidential and parliamentary primaries. He urged all parliamentary candidates and party executives to take immediate action by reaching out to unsuccessful aspirants and forming a strong constituency campaign team to ensure the party retains its majority in the 10th Parliament.

Highlighting the importance of unity, Ntim called on party members to put aside their differences and work together towards victory. He emphasized that when the party stands united, it becomes unstoppable. Ntim urged everyone to march in unity towards a resounding first-round victory in the upcoming election on December 7.

During the Bawumia Speaks Lecture, Dr. Bawumia outlined his vision for Ghana with over 70 points in his agenda. Some key points include enhancing the education system to cope with the demands of the fourth Industrial Revolution, reducing the number of ministers, introducing a citizen and business-friendly flat tax regime, promoting job opportunities in the IT sector, and prioritizing the construction of the Pwalugu Dam.

Dr. Bawumia also emphasized the need to protect local industries, establish special economic zones at major border towns, improve healthcare through technology, and prioritize the implementation of the Affirmative Action Act. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of collaboration with the private sector to drive economic growth and development.

The NPP National Chairman expressed his support for Dr. Bawumia’s vision, stating that it aligns with the party’s commitment to progress and development. He emphasized the party’s dedication to creating a better future for all Ghanaians and urged citizens to embrace the agenda put forth by Dr. Bawumia.
