Ploys against Annoh-Dompreh exposed

In a shocking revelation, The Metro Lens Newspaper has uncovered a campaign aimed at ousting eight members of parliament from the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The campaign, led by a wealthy and influential member of the party, is in response to the MPs’ vigorous support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president of Ghana and the NPP’s flagbearer.
Among the targeted MPs are Ursula Owusu of Ablekuma West, Samuel Abu Jinapor of Damongo, Francis Asenso Boakye of Bantama, Alex Tetteh Djornubuah of Akontombra, Mavis Hawa Koomson of Awutu Senya East, and Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri and the majority chief whip.
The main focus of the campaign is Annoh-Dompreh, as the wealthy businessman behind the plot is reportedly displeased with his strong support for Dr. Bawumia during the NPP Presidential elections.
The billionaire businessman had previously vowed to sponsor a candidate against Annoh-Dompreh, and The Metro Lens can now confirm that a candidate, whose name is being withheld, has accepted the offer to contest the Nsawam Adoagyiri NPP primaries after negotiations with key figures associated with the businessman.
Despite the campaign against Annoh-Dompreh, delegates in the constituency have expressed their unwavering support for Nsawam Adoagyiri MP. They highlight his strong presence on the ground, his dedication to development projects, and his commitment to serving his constituents as reasons for their backing.
The majority chief whip remains popular among the people he represents, despite the efforts to remove him from office by the NPP billionaire businessman.
The Metro Lens Newspaper will continue to closely follow this developing story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
