Adwoa Safo, Agyeman Manu, Ofori Atta, and the Roads Minister should have been dismissed a long time ago, according to DKY

Dan Kweku Yeboah, a sports journalist at Peace FM, has expressed that Ghanaians are discontented with the NPP administration’s performance due to President Akufo-Addo’s failure to take decisive action.

During a discussion with the esteemed journalist Kwami Sefa Kayi on the sports segment of Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo,’ Yeboah noted that Ghanaians would have applauded Nana Addo, especially considering his accomplishments. However, his inability to dismiss certain Ministers has tarnished his reputation.

“The government finds itself in this situation because it couldn’t take strong action against some of its Ministers. People are frustrated with the ruling government due to the behavior of some of these Ministers,” he remarked.

This comment follows Adwoa Safo’s apology to her constituents.

Adwoa Safo, the Member of Parliament representing the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, has issued a heartfelt apology to her political party. In a concise two-minute video posted on her Facebook page, she expressed deep regret.

“I was facing significant challenges both as a mother and as a woman. I would like to seize this moment to request your forgiveness for any actions or behavior on my part that may have tarnished the party’s reputation. As the old saying goes, ‘To err is human, and to forgive is divine.’ I humbly seek your forgiveness,” she conveyed.

In the view of Dan Kweku Yeboah, “under typical circumstances, the NPP as a party and the government should have taken steps to remove Adwoa Safo from Parliament a while back…right is right, wrong is wrong…Issuing an apology at this stage is belated.

Yeboah further pointed out some ministers who ought to have been dismissed.

“Individuals like the Roads Minister should have been replaced quite some time ago. The Health and Finance Ministers should have been replaced already. Given the caliber of work President Akufo-Addo has accomplished, Ghanaians should have been applauding him by now, but his failure to take decisive action with his ministers…” he emphasized.
