To ensure convenient bill payments and prepaid credit purchases, customers are urged to download or update the ECG PowerApp from the Google Play Store or App Store, according to Ms. Jatoe-Kaleo. The ECG PowerApp offers a range of benefits, including the ability to transact with the power distribution company anytime and anywhere, real-time payment updates, and fault reporting functionality.

Ms. Jatoe-Kaleo assured customers that in the event of a failed transaction resulting in a deduction from their MoMo account, the system would automatically refund their money to their PowerApp wallet.

She reiterated the need for public assistance in identifying cases of illegal electricity consumption, particularly individuals bypassing meters or obtaining them through unlawful means. By reporting such instances, the company can combat losses and ensure fair payment practices.

In addition, the revenue mobilization exercise targets customers and companies that were granted a moratorium, and they are advised to visit the ECG Office to regularize their electricity supply within the system.
