Otumfour has appointed an Interim Management Committee to oversee the operations of Asante Kotoko Club
Under the leadership of Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, Asante Kotoko is preparing for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season by appointing an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the club’s operations.
This decision follows the dissolution of the previous Management Committee at the conclusion of their tenure, signaling a new chapter for Asante Kotoko under the guidance of the IMC.
Prosper Ogum Narteh, who previously had a successful stint with the club during the 2021/22 season, will be making a return to Asante Kotoko as part of the IMC’s interim appointments.
Joining Narteh on the committee are notable figures such as James Akwasi Appiah, a former head coach of the Ghana national team, and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, who will serve as the Administrative Manager of the club. Additionally, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah will contribute his expertise as a member of the IMC.
The primary task of the Interim Management Committee is to ensure that Asante Kotoko complies with all the statutory requirements of the Premier League in preparation for the upcoming season.
With this fresh approach and a dedicated leadership team in place, Asante Kotoko aims to make a strong impact in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League and achieve success both on and off the field.
