GH₵ 20,000 Bounty Placed on Suspects Threatening Election Violence

The Ghana Police Service has intensified its search for individuals from Obuasi who were seen in a viral video threatening violence during the upcoming 2024 General Elections. The suspects, including Fuseini Yahuza, Bernard Ahedor, Simon, Basit, Musa Yakubu alias Agya Musah, and their accomplices, have been on the run since the incident on November 15, 2024.

A reward of GH₵20,000 is being offered to anyone who provides credible information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The Police have set up a dedicated phone number, 0547927272, for the public to share information.

The Ghana Police Service is urging the public to remain calm and support the ongoing operation to bring the suspects to justice. The Police are committed to ensuring peaceful, secure, and orderly communities during the election period.

This development comes as the Police Service continues to work towards maintaining law and order in the country. Similar rewards have been offered in the past for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in violent clashes The Police Service has also announced rewards for information on suspects involved in election-related violence in other parts of the country
