Obour Congratulates Bawumia for Victory
Former Managing Director of Ghana Post and Parliamentary aspirant of Asante Akyem South Constituency in the Ashanti region Bice Obour Osei Kuffour have congratulated New Patriotic Party recently elected Presidential Candidate and Former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana H.E Dr Mahamudu Bawumia over his emphatic and decisive victory in the NPP Presidential primaries.
Mr. Bice Obour Osei Kuffour expressed these mesages of congratulations when he paid a visit to the former vice President and Presidential Candidate at his home over the weekend.
He stressed “Your emphatic victory was reassuring and speaks volumes of the mood of the delegates which reflects the broader mood of the party”.
Obour indicated that taking into consideration the pedigree and weight of the candidates who contested against Dr Bawumia, and the emphatic victory chalked, he was very confident that the NPP was on its way to annex power in 2028 if the party closes its ranks which he believes Dr Bawumia’s countenance and nature would ensure.

He emphasized “I am confident that Dr Bawumia shall unite the Party ahead of the 2028 elections to ensure we confront the elections as a force the National Democratic Congress can not stand.”
He entreated the candidates who contested Dr Bawumia to respond favorably to olive branches extended to them by the elected Presidential Candidate
to ensure that the Party stands united and resolute in our collective effort to wrestle power in 2028 to restore hope to the hopeless situation Ghanaians find themselves in like the predicament of the Ghanaian cocoa farmer . The current harsh conditions the Ghanaian is faced with like high electricity and water bills even though we were promised of better living conditions.
Mr. Bice Osei-Kuffour pledged his undiluted loyalty and support to Dr Bawumia stressing that he would actively engage in his own small way to carry the message of hope to his constituents and Ghanaians in tandem with the vision of the campaign as planned by the Party.
He also expressed hearty congratulations on behalf of the leadership of the team who campaigned for Bawumia in the Asante Akyem South constituency which included Noah Kyei – the constituency chairman, William Obeng – the constituency Secretary, Alexander Frimpong – former MCE and others in the Nasara wing and some Patrons.
Obour thanked Dr Bawumia for the confidence reposed in him to lead the team as a Cordinator for the Asante Akyem Zone together with Hon Kwame Anyimadu( MP- Asante Akyem Central) and Hon Asafo Agyei (MP – Bosomefreho), a task that have been well executed since Bawumia won all the three Asante Akyem Constituencies and Bosomefreho convincingly .
