CAGD Rolls Out Enhanced Electronic Payslip Platform for Public Sector Workers
The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has introduced a revamped electronic payslip system for all government employees on the National Payroll, a move aimed at boosting transparency, data security, and ease of access to payroll records.
Under the upgraded platform, employees are now required to log in using their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers. Officials say this measure will help safeguard personal payroll information while improving the accuracy of employee records.
According to the department, the new payslip system forms part of wider reforms to modernise public sector payroll administration and reinforce accountability within government financial management.
How to Access the New Payslip Platform
Employees can register and access their payslips by following these steps:
• Visit https://gogepayslipgh.com
• Click on “Forgot Password”
• Enter your employee number
• Provide your Ghana Card number for verification
• Confirm your email address and add or update your phone number (this step is mandatory)
• Optionally, add an alternate email address
• Verify your phone number by entering the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to you
• Create and confirm a new password
• Choose a security question and provide a confidential answer (this will be needed for future password recovery)
• Review and confirm all details on the summary page
• Tick the confirmation checkbox
• Click Register to complete the process
To support a smooth transition, the CAGD has made an online instructional guide available to assist employees in navigating the new system. In addition, dedicated helplines have been set up for enquiries and technical support. The department encourages all public sector workers on the National Payroll to complete their registration promptly to ensure uninterrupted access to their payslip information.
