Australian man Pulls Gun on Ghanaian – Legal Storm Ensues!..
A foreign national, Paul Edward List, who is the CEO of BCM Ghana, is currently involved in a legal dispute after allegedly brandishing a gun and making threats against a Ghanaian citizen’s life. The incident took place at Vanguard Heights Apartments in Cantonments, Accra, and was reported to the police. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media, causing shock and disbelief among viewers.
The video, shared by Michael Truth on Twitter (@MTruth77), shows Paul E. List threatening a Ghanaian individual with a gun. It is concerning that he showed no regard for others, particularly Ghanaians. The video can be viewed at this facebook page: The Metro Lens
It is important to question why this Ghanaian citizen was subjected to such a threat. What is even more disturbing is that other Ghanaians, including the security at Vanguard Heights Apartment, seemed to encourage this behavior. These individuals should also be held accountable for their actions towards a fellow human being. It is crucial for Ghanaians and Africans to watch the full video and decide for themselves if this white man would face consequences for his actions if the victim was also white or if this incident occurred in his own country. We must not tolerate such behavior.
Allegedly, this is not the first time Paul Edward List has been reported to the police for mistreating his employees. There have been reports of him allegedly assaulting workers and even subjecting his driver to public humiliation. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft, taking the law into one’s own hands and dehumanizing others is unacceptable.
It is disheartening to see that this individual, who seems to have no respect for people of African descent, is able to freely act in our country. Such behavior would not be tolerated in neighboring countries like Togo or Nigeria. He would have either been deported or chosen to leave the country himself, never to return.
Paul Edward List has displayed a great deal of audacity. Despite being clearly captured in the video, he evaded the police for several weeks, likely with the help of his lawyers. However, the police, after obtaining a warrant, eventually arrested him and confiscated the gun.
The case has been brought before the Accra Circuit Court, presided over by Judge Adelaide Abui Keddey. The court has found sufficient evidence to proceed with the case, but List’s lawyers have indicated their intention to challenge the charges, despite the overwhelming evidence against him.
