Jefferson Sackey Feasts With PWDs in Ablekuma Central
It was a joyous and inspirational day in Laterbiokorshie when NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma Central Constituency, Mr. Jefferson Sackey hosted an end-of-year feast for People Living With Disabilities (PWDs) in the Constituency. The event, themed “Jefferson Sackey’s End of Year Feast for PWDs,” saw the gathering of hundreds of individuals with various disabilities from all seven electoral areas.
The feast served not only as a celebratory occasion but as a testament to the transformative power of true inclusivity and empathy, promising a brighter future for all residents.
As a concrete step toward leaving no one behind, Mr. Jefferson Sackey made a donation of wheelchairs to three individuals in urgent need to facilitate their mobility.
In his address, He passionately inspired the attendees, emphasizing their potential for greatness despite physical challenges. Drawing inspiration from global figures like Stevie Wonder, Oscar Pistorius, and local hero Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, he urged them to defy societal expectations and strive for excellence.
Mr. Sackey also pledged to make the feast an annual project once elected as Member of Parliament, symbolizing an enduring commitment to the well-being and inclusivity of the PWD community in Ablekuma Central. This promise aimed to create a tradition of unity and support, fostering a more caring and compassionate community.
After the feast, each PWD received a package which includes 5kg rice and a litre of cooking oil and locally produced Ekumfi juice.
